Halloween

We didn't have a very good trick-or-treater turnout. Luckily, we went to Trunk-or-Treat at our church last Sunday. It was way more fun!!

Grady was there as Remmie from Ratatouille.

Matthew was there too. I'm telling him how cool his Thomas the Train costume is. Thomas is my new favorite thing. I have to admit that I was a little jealous of his trick-or-treat basket.

On Halloween night, we hung out in the driveway to give out candy. I didn't actually trick-or-treat because ONLY TWO other houses on our street had lights on. We moved to a dud of a neighborhood!!! So, I entertained myself in other ways...like practicing pushing a stroller. I hope I don't drive my baby sister into the shrubs!
I took over Mommy and Daddy's chairs.I played in the yard.
I even pretended to be monkey roadkill. Kinda gory, even for Halloween!!!
My folks were disappointed in our neighborhood, but I managed to have fun as always!

Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze

Checking out the pumpkins
Next, a visit to the farm animals...the cow and I had a chat. There was lots of mooing!
I led the way through the corn maze...I wasn't afraid!! I knew we would find our way out!
I wasn't too sure about this corn stuff though.
Still studying it...
We made it out, and then I went muddin' on a trike!
And climbed on the hay balesAnd found a John Deere

I played in the sand box, only it wasn't sand! It was dried corn!! Where are my feet?!?!
I learned to love the corn after a few minutes.
We ended with a ride on a train. Could I have gone somewhere made more for me? I don't think so!

Soaring Wings Half Marathon in Conway, AR

I had fun finding rocks and sticks while waiting for Daddy.

Here he is! Daddy is back in race mode after taking a year off! He has a marathon and a half Ironman planned for '09. He doesn't even look like he broke a sweat!
Daddy let me wear his medal. It made me fall over a few times as I walked around with it! I was a little off balance!Yep, it's real metal!

First Haircut...Finally!!

First came the scissors...Mommy was a little nervous because I was a little wiggly!!
I worked on my masterpiece during this event.
Daddy trimmed a little around my ears, and we realized that I'm totally bald around my ears!! Now it looks like he cut way too much off!
Here's the back before. A little bit mullet-ish!
Time for the clippers
They didn't quite work in my thin hair though. The scissors were definitely the way to go.
See my masterpiece?
After...I really don't wear my hair like this though. You know how those stylists like to do whatever they want with your hair!

Maumelle Mommy & Me Halloween Parade

All monkeyed up for the first time
Posing for the big group photo
I sat next to my buff buddy J.J.On the parade route
Some Maumelle scenery
Check out my monkey face and my loot! I'm pretty sure my parents ate all my candy though. They only gave me a fruit roll-up!
The firemen started the parade for us with the siren. They let us have a look after it was over.

I got to do this last year on Labor Day. It was fun to do it again!

Walking around with Daddy...this is one of Mommy's favorite pictures ever. We're kinda walking the same! Here's the front view of my costume...
...and here's the back view.
Leave it to me to find the balloons!
Running down the pier. My parents weren't sure why I was so excited to get to the end...
...until I threw a rock I had been saving in the lake. KERPLUNK!
Finding more rocks
On to the park now
Time to get this suit off and play!! It was a little warm for the monkey, but I didn't complain!
Ahhhhhh, my favorite place to be at the park.
Daddy took off for a bike ride, but I tried it out first.
