Disney Day 3 part 2 - Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

After a full day at Hollywood Studios, it was time to jump on the Monorail and head back to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!!

Because it was hot (and we were tired), we only wore our abbreviated costumes for the party.

Doesn't the castle look cool in purple!

While we were trick or treating, we stopped by this cool Monster dance party!

With the lines for candy getting longer, the lines for rides were getting shorter!  So we made the leap for our first ride on Space Mountain!!  Mom and Dad were definitely more nervous than Tyler and Brooklyn!

After surviving Space Mountain, we took our chances out on the open road on the Tomorrowland Speedway!

Since we did so well at the speedway, we thought we'd try out our piloting skills at the Astro Orbiter!

After finishing up with the Tomorrowland rides, we headed back to Main Street for the Halloween Parade...a great finish to another spectacular day.

Disney Day 3 - Hollywood Studios

Another beautiful morning in Orlando!  Today we head off to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

But before we could get on the bus, we worked together to create VG Family Disney Rules... called "Disney Basics".  Dad recorded the rules and we all had to sign with our fingerprints!

After a mad dash at the park opening to reserve Tyler's spot in Jedi Training, we went to see all of Brooklyn's favorite characters in the Disney Junior Live show!

Even big brother enjoyed it!

Next stop...Tatooine....where Tyler's Jedi Training will begin!

After a brief Jedi quiz, the young Padawans headed out to meet their Jedi Master.

First they learned the ways of the force (and how to activate their Light Saber)

Next they learned basic fighting techniques....

But suddenly their training was cut short by an uninvited intruder!

Young Padawan Tyler was called forward to challenge the intruder!

The Jedi's young sister could barely watch...

But he trusted in the Force and emerged victorious!

After the intense battle, it was time for a nice relaxing drive (or pose) through the park...

...and some more posing with some super cool 3D glasses!

Then while Tyler and Daddy went to ride the Tower of Terror, Brooklyn and Mommy got to meet some more famous people!  Princess Sophia...

...and Pirate Jake (of Jake and the Neverland Pirates!)

After that, we reunited for the Backlot Tour...where we got to see how movies stunts are filmed and also some cool stuff from the movies that Mom and Dad loved when they were kids....like Herbie!....

...and Flight of the Navigator!

....we really didn't know who those guys were though, but we sure were excited to see Tow Mater!

Lots of cool cars from the stunt show...

And then we got to see the classic scene from Indiana Jones!!

Anybody remember this scene?

But despite all the cool sights of the day, the highlight for Daddy was discovering his favorite childhood Disney treat....the Churro!!

Another successful day at Disney!!

Disney Day 2 - Epcot

After a full day at the Magic Kingdom on Day 1, getting the kids up on Day 2 was tougher!

Tyler completely buried himself in his covers!

But once again we made it to the bus stop in time to arrive at Epcot well in advance of the park opening!

The second highlight (and surprise) for Brooklyn, was a Royal Princess Breakfast!

Belle, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Cinderella were all there!

Tyler was SUPER excited about the event.

It took some coaxing...but with a small bribe, we finally got Tyler to pose with one of Brooklyn's favorite pals!

But despite all the fun he had with the Princesses all morning, Tyler's favorite part of Epcot was Test Drive...where he and Brooklyn each got to design their own car and then take it out for a test drive on Chevrolet Test Track...where they tested acceleration, braking, aerodynamics and speed....we got up to 65 mph in a convertible out on the track!

Cooling off at the "Kid Wash"

Stop for a photo with an Epcot Scuba Diver

Say CHEESE!!

And of course we had to stop by and see Mickey and the gang!

Funny hats...

After a fun filled day at Epcot, the kids decided to have their portraits made back at the hotel!
