Trip to Poppy Duke and GG's

Here's a few pictures from our trip to see Poppy Duke and GG over Memorial Day weekend. The highlight for the grown ups was making the trek up through Tipton to Hobbs, IN to see the old School House!

Daddy loved seeing the place where he had his first job of cleaning up all the dead flies from the window sills!

We had a minor potty emergency once we got there...but lucky for us, many years ago, Poppy gave some of the School House land to the volunteer fire dept so they could build a new station! The leader recognized "ol' Ed" right away and let us crash his grandson's graduation party to use the restroom! Thanks Ken!!

After the potty break, we all enjoyed just hanging out at the School House.

Back at the homestead, Tyler and Brooklyn shared with GG and Poppy Duke...

We all went to eat at the Cracker Barrel where GG showed Tyler how to play the triangle peg game...the little stinker won!!

 

Uncle Chuck invited us over to his place for a cookout! Mae had a great time!

 

Tyler and Brooklyn met their second cousins Elliot and Grant...

Hmmmm...what kind of trouble can we get into....

After an awesome weekend it was time to go home.

What are the chances we'd see the official Wiener Mobile on the way home!!
