Here are some pictures of a great visit we had with GG and Poppy Duke nearly 3 years ago. One of the memorable moments was when GG taught Tyler how to play the peg game at The Cracker Barrel, which of course he won on his first try! On the way home from Indy, we stopped at a Cracker Barrel for dinner. Look what Tyler did again (bottom picture)! I think he had some help from heaven. 🙂

Poppy Duke and Birthday

It was great to take the kids to see Poppy Duke before we left Indy. He was very tired, but we could still see his smile and even got a few winks and a laugh! I had to post the picture of them at the beech. One of my all time favorites! Afterwards we had a mini birthday party for Tyler at McDonalds before we all went our separate ways. It was great to spend time with family.

Stick fort and ER

After building a really cool two room teepee and stick fort with his cousins, Tyler decided to pick a fight with a tree... and lost. After a 3+ hour excursion thru the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital system in Indianapolis, the doctor told us the only treatment needed for his busted lip was a clean shower to wash it out! Ugghhh!! The good news, is that one week later it's almost completely healed!!!
