Fishing!

Kids both caught 3 fish! (For anyone who thinks something doesn't look right on Tyler... At the last day of school carnival (yesterday) he and his buddies thought they'd be cool dudes at the fingernail polish station.... He's been second guessing that decision all day!!)

Wisconsin Beach!

Don't be fooled by the pictures... Lake Michigan is still cold in June! Lots of sand dunes at Kohler Andrae... Almost lost both kids in them!

Camping at Kohler Andrae State Park

Rainy Day 1

Who says you can't enjoy camping on a rainy day?

Campfire cooking!

Campfire cooking and another loose tooth!

Hula Hoop Champion

You are probably wondering why there are no pictures of hula hooping, right? Well that's because before we could get out the camera, B stepped on a board and got a splinter that broke off in her foot. Daddy did his best to dig it out, but ultimately couldn't take the tears and gave in to a trip to the Doctor. Of course all the clinics were closed on Saturday in Green Lake, so we ended up at the ER! B was very brave. And when I asked her why she didn't cry at all when the doctor dug it out (unlike when I tried), she said..."Daddy, you're a maker of wipes, not a doctor!" Well said B. On the way back, we stopped at the Brooklyn Town Hall.

Camping at Green Lake

It's a beautiful Memorial Day Weekend for camping! The camp ground organized a special Memorial Day scavenger hunt. The kids had to write down all the words to the national anthem and learn some history of Memorial Day. Did you know if was originally called Decorations Day?
