The kids went shopping for each other's Christmas gift. Usually, we give hints about what the other might like...but no hints this year. They picked what they thought the other would want. They chose wisely! B looked super happy, and T got right to work!

Math Meet

Tyler was in his first math meet in December. 48 5th graders from 4 area school districts competed, and he came in second place in the individual competition!!!! He was thrilled! And he was even more thrilled to know there's such a thing as math meets...spending an afternoon taking 3 math tests...what could be better?! :) In the team competition, he competed against 5th and 6th grade teams. His team came in 4th place...and was the highest placing 5th grade team!
