Bible Land—A Cool Find!
We were still waiting for the concert at the Corn Palace to be over, so we wandered into Bible Land across the street. It was amazing. A man had recreated many Bible scenes over the last 10 years and we could wander through them. It ended in a Garden if Eden playground that was a hit with the kids! Then finally we made it into the Corn Palace—not really much to see! We did sneak a peak of the Righteous Brothers signing autographs!
Corn Palace
First stop...The World's Only Corn Palace! The art on the building is made of agricultural products and is redesigned and redone every summer....they're still working on it. It was closed for a Righteous Brothers concert but would soon reopen, so we were forced to wait and eat food at the festival going on along the street—fried Oreos and kettle corn!
Things We’ve Learned
Gas pumps shut off after $100. Potting on the road is very efficient...buuuuuut, can be a bit stinkaroo (thanks, Tyler). And the kids will be journaling this trip...we'll see what we learn from them!
