Wisconsin Dells

Instead of birthday parties this year, we went to a waterpark hotel with the Hammonds and had a blast! The 4 kids have birthdays close together, so we celebrated for all of them. Hilary made a Shopkins cake for the girls and a Rubik's Cube cake for the boys. Super cute!!!

Senators Team Hockey Party!

It was a fun night of outdoor hockey in a teammate's backyard. It was hard to capture the coolness! Jeff and Brooklyn now have visions of a rink in our yard....

Rubik's Cube Master

Kids bring their cubes to school so Tyler can solve them! At recess, the bus line, on the bus...he even made a dollar once!

Powder Puff Derby

B's turn to race! She won her first heat and did great! But sadly no trophy this year. Not sure why she didn't win Coolest Car though...

Hockey Fundraiser Banquet

We won THREE raffle basket items tonight! Crazy!! Think we need to buy a lottery ticket!!

Brooklyn was Star Student this week and got to do many special things. She was super excited to show off her hockey gear to her class and teach about the sport. She came in the room with everything on, and took it off piece by piece explaining it all. She did a GREAT job! Her classmates were really into it and asked a lot of questions!

Birthday Tummy

Got a call from school that B's tummy was hurting and needed picked up. Sick? Too much birthday excitement? Sore abs from a serious hockey tournament the two days before? No one knows, but we still were able to celebrate!

Daddy Surprise!

Dad stayed up late to learn "Happy Birthday" on the ukulele and recorded a video for her to watch when she woke up. She looooved it and watched it a zillion times!

Brooklyn's 8th Birthday

The events started the night before with a fried shrimp dinner at Nana and Grandpa D's. It was a princess hockey party...perfect for B! Check out her awesome new doll hockey gear...complete with EVERY piece B really wears! So cute!
