Happy Thanksgiving!

The morning got started out right with sticky buns and Apple Pie!

Appleton Christmas Parade

Took advantage of a "mild" November and braved the parade this year for the first time! It's televised, so we usually watch it at home! The best float was the truck bed full of hot air balloon flames!!! We were grateful for the heat!!!!

Santa Scamper

Before the parade we ran the Santa Scamper. Never had a race packet with a winter hat in it before! We met the hockey group beforehand to run with. And guess what the treat was at the 30ish-degree finish line??? Dairy Queen Dilly Bars. It actually hit the spot after running a mile in a zillion layers of clothes!!!

There's nothing like a random superhero night to get the week started!

Tyler's First Official Swim Meet

Tyler's first official time is 59.35 in the 50 free! He also swam the 25 fly and 50 back (he's the one looking at the camera :)) He did an awesome job!

Birthday Meal

Today was the day... On her birthday, Tami ordered for the family... Chicken fried steak for everyone! Two thumbs up from the kiddos! Then for desert, free samples at Sam's Club!!!

The kids worked together to make the birthday cake...It was delicious! Happy Birthday Mom!

Self taught artists

The kids have found a productive use of their iPads. They are teaching themselves how to draw!

Backyard campfire and playroom camp out!

Had a nice evening complete with marshmallows and campfire! Notice how Brooklyn always finds a way to be fashionable regardless of the weather!

Winner!!!

Brooklyn won the "guess how many paper clips are in the jar" contest at school today! She was the closest out of ALL the kids in the school...there were 992 paper clips and she guessed 998! They said her name on the announcements and her class clapped for her! Check out the loot she won! It was quite a goody bag. Great estimating, B!!
