January was the month of pulling up. You never knew where you would find me!I'd pull up to beat on tables.
I'd pull up to play with the high chair straps.
I'd pull up to express my reluctance to nap.
I'd pull up to help Mommy with the dishes!! That was her favorite!

The Hammonds Visit from WI
Alexander and I hit it off right away! He just turned 1 a few days ago. He showed me a thing or two while he was here.
Here's the mommy picture...that's my "Aunt" Hilary!
Here's the daddy picture...that's my "Uncle" Andy!
Should I be worried? I'm not used to someone else my size!
Giving Uncle Andy a face check. He has teeth too! Am I the only one without any?!?
Alexander and I played together some...we've got to work on our sharing skills. We look pretty good here though.
We met a bunch of friends at La Familia.
This nice lady, Dorothy, who Uncle Andy used to work with, was waving at me...
...and I waved back at her...FOR THE FIRST TIME!! (I'm waving here, but you can't really tell, and I wasn't really sure what I was doing. Everyone was sure excited though!)
We tried to take a picture with Dorothy and I, but my stranger anxiety kicked in. Mommy had to hold me.
When Uncle Andy and Aunt Hilary lived here, no one had kids. Now look! Babies everywhere! We had 4 babies at one table. It was crazy!
Maverick misses his old pal Hilary. (He really wishes his old pal Paris, Alexander's schnoodle, could have come on the plane too.)
Uncle Andy is legendary for his fires. He was able to get one in while he was here!
Just hangin' out...
One last Parisian photo of Alexander eating the Eiffel Tower with the cowboy hat!! Then it was time to head to the airport. We had so much fun. It was great to meet Alexander!!

Big Events in the New Year
On the way to a New Year's party. My folks were going to let me stay up for a while, but I was VERY cranky and wanted to go to bed. I only made it to 7:30!!One family photo before bedtime. It was my first time to go to bed at someone else's house and then be transported back home. It went beautifully!
A few days later, we went to Nana and Grandpa D's for their birthdays...and for a break from Packer Central!
